Invites You to Learn, Re-learn, or Improve your singing of the Roman Missal tone of the Preface of the Mass.

“It is truly right and Just” to lead your congregation in prayerful song into the holiest and most sacred prayer of the Canon. Every priest has a “musical” voice and can master the four notes and three parts of the preface in five 1.5 hour sessions.

When: Five Thursdays: 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

Dates: September 10, 17, 24; October 1, 8

Where: Chapel of St. Basil, University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas

Funded by the Committee for the Ongoing Formation of Priests. Please register so we can properly prepare materials.

Join with brother celebrants in leading and uniting the congregation to a higher consciousness, a deeper and more active participation in the sung prayer of the Liturgy.
